The Odyssey-4E is an extended version of our Odyssey-4 UV laser wire stripping system with double the processing area: 4″ x 4″ (100 mm x 100 mm) instead of 2″ x 2″ (50 mm x 50 mm). This means it can strip up to double the quantity of wires at any one time.
As with the standard Odyssey-4 unit, the Odyssey-4E is especially suited to strip very fine, delicate enamel wires, such as those used in medical device manufacture.

The Odyssey-4E system is capable of stripping almost all magnet wire insulations from 30 AWG down to 58 AWG and smaller. The system can strip single wires or ribbons (bi-filar, tri-filar, twisted pair, etc).
In addition, the same laser source can be used to cut the individual wires enabling precision connectorization - with the highest accuracy strip lengths.
All Odyssey systems are capable of stripping polyimide-type enamel insulations found on catheter wiring and magnet wires. Note the laser will not strip fluoropolymers, such as PTFE or ETFE. Examples of wire types stripped:
