Laser Wire Solutions has announced that it will be sponsoring one of our Mechanical Design Engineers at his local football team throughout their 2022/2023 season for the Community Chest.
Laser Wire Solutions is based on the outskirts of Cardiff in Treforest Industrial Estate with colleagues joining from across South Wales, South West of England, and Northern England.
In an initiative called the Community Chest, each year Laser Wire Solutions chooses to support a local community for the year. For 2022/2023, the Laser Wire Solutions team has chosen to support Cai Thomas at the Seven Sisters Onllwyn Football Club.
Founded in 2020, the Seven Sisters Onllwyn Football Club has recently enjoyed considerable success. They played their first season of competitive football in 2021, won the West Wales FA Intermediate Cup, and more recently have been promoted to the Ardal Southwest League (the third tier of the Welsh football pyramid).
Cai, who plays at Centre Half/Centre Midfield for the team, “The boys have worked so hard to improve the facilities of the club over the past few years. This sponsorship helps us in our goal to build a solid footballing infrastructure to support the club in any direction it decides to take.
It means the world for your employer to support you with your out-of-work activities. From myself and on behalf of Seven Sisters Onllwyn FC, Thank you so much Laser Wire Solutions for the sponsorship for the 22/23 season”.
As part of the support, Cai will receive full sponsorship from Laser Wire Solutions allowing him to play the game he loves without having to pay fees.
Seven Sisters Onllwyn FC’s home ground is the Welfare Ground in Neath. If you would like to show your support for the team you can get updates about the team and upcoming fixtures, here.
The Community Chest initiative runs alongside other support we provide such as supporting a young local gymnast and our dedication to supporting our Charity of the Year, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital. As a company, we want to do everything we can to support our local communities.
