The Odyssey-4E is an extended version of our Odyssey-4 UV laser wire stripping system with double the processing area: 4″ x 4″ (100 mm x 100 mm) instead of 2″ x 2″ (50 mm x 50 mm). This means it can strip up to double the quantity of wires at any one time.

As with the standard Odyssey-4 unit, the Odyssey-4E is especially suited to strip very fine, delicate enamel wires, such as those used in medical device manufacture.

Highlights of the Odyssey-4E system include:

• Perfect, nick-free results every time – the insulation from the wire is vaporized effortlessly and cleanly without leaving any residue.
• Flexibility – the system handles single and multiple wires with a special wire fixturing system, which if required can be removed from the machine for easier pre-loading. The fixture ensures that the wires are held in the optimal position to allow the laser beams to hit the wires from top and bottom to get a perfect circumferential strip.
